Sometimes I don’t think of the creation as a great bible story. We all have heard it before and think we have heard it all when it come to genesis 1. With all this great weather we have been having I have really been able to just enjoy creation and enjoy as a gift from God.

I had seen that video before, and wished it was a little longer. Great realization though, and maybe one that a lot of people never come to as a Christian. If Jesus loves and cares about me, and if Jesus has a spot for me with him in heaven; then why do I care what strangers think of me?
If you realize and accept that Christ has a relationship with you, AND an assignment for you; then you can go into the world and make disciples of all nations.
Other people’s opinions of you, your lifestyle, beliefs, or financial status fall away. I can boldly share the Gospel with people. If they don’t like me, or what I’m saying; that’s fine, Jesus is my friend, I don’t need any more. I just pray that their heart isn’t so hardened that they’ll be lost.

The Creation story is what it is: a two paragraph narrative that describes the creation if the entire universe. Crazy. It really highlights the importance of Gods love, Gods Son, and our hearts, that God spends a couple paragraphs talking about making the universe, and then the rest of the Bible telling us how Jesus can heal and Save us. I really enjoyed a sermon series I heard on Genesis a couple years ago. It’s kinda deep though, so bring a pair of swim trunks if you’re getting into it.
